This 1-day workshop with Jaimie Cloud is designed to increase participants’ awareness, knowledge, and a shared understanding of sustainability and the core concepts, knowledge, skills and habits of mind that characterize education for sustainability. It can be taken by itself, and is also a prerequisite for the June 25-9 Design Studio.

The Sustainable Schools Collaborative has partnered with the Cloud Institute to offer this opportunity on the West Coast. Teachers will learn how to design and embed Education for Sustainability into their curriculum and assessments. Administrators and supervisors will learn how to develop performance assessments, professional development plans, and organizational learning strategies that educate for sustainability. The June 24 Introductory workshop is a prerequisite.
